Hello families! My name is Ade Alabi and I am the new 3^rd Grade teacher at Bethune Community School. I am very excited to be joining the Bethune family and I am looking forward to getting know you and your child and working together to help your child succeed. I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I received a Masters in Education from Augsburg College, and Bachelors n Finance from Morehouse College

I have been teacher for the past five years. I have worked in the field of education in various capacities. I was an English teacher in South Korea and I taught grades 2-5 in Minnesota. In my spare time, I read a lot of history, government, and science fiction books. My favorite activities are Tae Kwon Do, bicycling, technology, writing, travelling, and making short video documentaries

I am looking forward to getting to know you all. As parents and guardians, I understand that you are the most important teachers in your child’s life. I hope to provide a role where we are working together to help achieve your child’s goals. I am also looking forward to having a fun, productive and an exciting year Bethune Community School!
