Hello! Welcome to art.  We will use our imaginations and creativity.  We will create projects that express students’ ideas. Students will be challenged to try new things and think in new ways.

Students will use a wide variety of art materials and explore disciplines like drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more.  They will also gain exposure to artists and art movements from a global perspective.

Students come to art on a four-day rotation.  I see students once (or sometimes twice) per week for 55 minutes.

My goal for students is to engage with the artistic process, take creative risks, and have fun doing it.  Creativity and perseverance are skills that students will practice in art that they will help them throughout their lives.
