Vanessa is a dynamic youth worker and educator with over a decade of experience working with youth in the Twin Cities.  She has worked in organizations including Plymouth Youth Center, East Side Thrive, Minneapolis Public Schools, the University of Minnesota and most recently Community Education in St Paul Public Schools. Vanessa earned an Entrepreneurial Management degree from the Carlson School of Management and received her Master’s in Education from the University of Minnesota, with a focus on Youth Development Leadership. She is excited to be joining Bethune as the Full-Service Community School Coordinator.  When she's not working Vanessa loves traveling to tropical destinations, attending concerts and cooking.  She also loves fitness, teaching cycling classes and preparing for races like the Tough Mudder.
